Types of sweeteners to use:

Non GMO, Xylitol, which can all be purchased from a health food shop.  Raw honey, Organic grade 'B' maple syrup.  Raw cane sugar, coconut nectar (crystals or syrup), Lucuma, Whey low.  Good sugar is absolutely necessary for great health.  It affects oxygen levels, energy and even your mood.  You must have good sugar but even too much of a good thing is bad.


The three most commonly used artificial sweeteners are: sucralose, sugralose, splenda, these are all made from sugar, look like sugar and tastes like sugar.  Aspartame, is the number one source of side effect complaints to the FDA, with more than 10,000 complaints filed and 91 symptoms documented that are related to it's consumption.  It is the most contested substance in the history of the FDA.  It can be found in diet coke. Aspartame has got three ingredients that attack our Neuro-Transmitters.

Sugar - Your Path Way to Disease:

In the United States, the number one cause of disease is chronic inflammation.  The number one cause of chronic inflammation is over consumption of sugar.  Processed white sugar contribute's heavily to depression and hormone imbalance.  It is a heavy contributor to diabetes and hypoglycemia and is the leading cause of obesity.  It weakens the eyesight and suppresses the immune system, it produces a noticeable rise in triglycerides.  Sugar has been linked to chronic headaches including migraine and contributes to heart disease.  It can change the structure of your collagen, thereby aging the skin and causing joint deterioration.  It also interferes with the absorption of Calcium and Magnesium.

Supplementation:  The older you get the less antioxidants the body produces, which means more Free Radicals are in the body.  You cannot get enough antioxidants from your daily intake of food, it has been proven over and over.  Free Radicals are associated with every disease, you must take antioxidant supplements to limit the free radicals accumulating thus reducing oxidative stress.  In laymen terms the more free radical activity the more rust you have on your insides.  You are actually rusting from the inside out.


Sweaty Fun Activity:  Exercise, exercise, exercise.  If you don't like to exercise then do a Fun Sweaty Activity, that you enjoy.  Anything to get you mobile and raise your heart rate.  it is vitally important for your lymphatic system, this is the only way this system becomes active.  The recommended weekly amount is three times for a minimum 30 minutes, i suggest everyday. 


The Importance of Good Sleep:  During sleep your body is working and repairing to support your healthy brain function and maintain your physical health.  Sleep is involved in the healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels.  Your immune system relies on sleep to stay healthy.  Ongoing sleep deficiency can change the way in which your immune system responds.  If you are sleep deficient, you may have trouble making decisions, solving problems, controlling your emotions and behavior and coping with the slightest change.  Sleep deficiency has been linked to depression, suicide, and risk taking behavior.  In children and teens, sleep helps support growth and development.  Everyone needs between 7 and 8 hours of good sleep in every 24 hour period.

The Healthy Lifestyle:

Drink Alkaline Water:  The amount of water you should drink on a daily basis just to keep the body hydrated is to take your body weight for e.g. 150 pounds, half that weight, which would be 75 lbs and change it to ounces.  That is the amount of good water (75 ounces) you should be drinking on a daily basis just to keep yourself hydrated.  Alkaline water is water that has a pH above 7.0..


Eat Organic Food:  It goes without saying any food that is not Organic, means it has been treated with chemicals, i.e. additives, colorings, pesticides, herbicides. The food industry can label a packet 'Natural" if it has one natural component to it, this does not mean its organic.  Organic food is more expensive the question is 'what price do you put on your personnel health'?  Not eating organic food you are slowly poisoning yourself.
